Adobe ID is required to access Creative Cloud in the Lab

To use Adobe software in the computer labs, you’ll need an Adobe account. These accounts are free and can be created at any time.

  • Extension students without an OTIS email address should follow the steps below to create a personal Adobe ID.
  • Extension students with an OTIS email address are automatically provided with an Adobe account linked to that address. This account grants access to Adobe applications on lab computers only, as the license is tied to the lab machines, not to their Adobe account.
  • BFA/MFA students use their OTIS email address as their Adobe ID.   Click here for MFA/BFA student Adobe Access info

Otis IT support does not manage your Adobe ID and cannot reset passwords, recover lost accounts, or delete old accounts. All Adobe login and password resets can be completed through the Adobe login screen, as seen below.

We recommend signing up for an account before heading to the computer lab at

How to create your Adobe Account or go directly to https://accounts.adobe.com/

To Create an Adobe ID

  1. Launch any Adobe Creative Cloud application installed on the Lab computers. You will be prompted to sign in.
  2. If you have your personal Adobe ID, you may use it to log in. If you don't have an Adobe ID,

click "Get an Adobe ID" to sign up for one

( They can also use the Facebook/Google processes to create/log in to the account.)

  1. The email address can be either your address (EG, yahoo/google) or an Otis email address; then fill in the form and click "Sign up" to create your Adobe ID.

  1. Remember it is good practice to sign out of your Adobe account before logging out of the computer.
