Cannon SecurePrint: On-the-Fly SecurePrint Modification Settings on Windows

To Note: If your workplace restricts you from changing global computer preferences (Global Fix), you can adjust them right before releasing the job at the physical machine.

  1. Send your document from your computer to the SecurePrint queue as normal.
  2. Walk up to the Canon printer and log in using your PIN or ID badge.
  3. Select your job from the Secure Print queue touchscreen, but do not click print yet.
  4. Look for an Options, Change Settings, or Print Style button on the screen.
  5. Manually switch the layout from 2-Sided to 1-Sided right there on the screen, then hit Start Print.

To Note: "On-the-fly" directions must be repeated every time you release a job.

To Note: You cannot permanently change the default layout from the printer's physical screen for jobs sent via Canon SecurePrint.
