Instructors may occasionally disconnect the projector cables from the back of the classroom computers, which can cause display issues.

Identification

The projector cable and port are clearly labeled to help you reconnect them correctly:

  • The cable is labeled "Projector"
  • The corresponding port on the computer is labeled "Projector"

Solution

If you find the projector cable disconnected:

Locate the cable labeled "Projector" and plug it into the computer port labeled "Projector". Make sure it's securely plugged in.

Prevention Tips:

  • Only disconnect the projector cable if necessary
  • If you must disconnect the cable temporarily, please reconnect it before leaving the room

Still Having Issues?

If the projector doesn't work after reconnecting the cable, please contact IT support. Contact information is posted in each classroom near the phone.
