Clocking In/Out
-
All employees are required to use the TCP time clock system to clock in and out at the start and end of their shift, as well as when taking mandatory lunch breaks.
-
Report any errors in your timecard to your supervisor promptly.
Timecard Errors or Discrepancies
If there are missed punches, incorrect entries, or other discrepancies, follow this process:
-
Employee reports error: Notify your supervisor immediately if you notice a missed punch or timecard error.
-
Supervisor verifies and corrects: Your supervisor will review the timesheet and make corrections in TCP. Once completed, the Manager will save the documentation for two (2) years.
-
Employee receives confirmation: The supervisor will notify you once the correction has been made.
Mandatory Lunch Break
-
All employees must take a minimum 30-minute uninterrupted lunch break before working more than 5 consecutive hours.
-
Reference: California Meal Period Requirements.
Supervisor Limitations
-
Supervisors cannot edit an employee’s timecard (such as adding a lunch break) without the employee’s consent.
