- Add the address to your contacts:
- In the Outlook desktop app:
- Open the email from the sender you want to whitelist.
- Hover over the sender’s email address (an info-box will appear).
- Click the three dots icon and select “Add to Outlook Contacts.”
- Fill out the optional form and click “Save & Close.”
- In the Outlook desktop app:
- In the Outlook web app:
- Follow similar steps by hovering over the sender’s email address and selecting “Add to Contacts.”

Add the email address to safe senders:
- In the Outlook desktop app:
- Go to the Home tab, click on “Junk,” and select “Junk E-mail Options.”
- Navigate to the Safe-senders tab and click “Add.”
- Enter the email address and click “OK.”
- In the Outlook desktop app:
- In the Outlook web app:
- Click the settings (cog) icon, select “View All Outlook Settings,” and go to the Mail tab.
- Under Junk Email, click “Add” in the Safe senders and domains category.
- Enter the email address and hit Enter.
