- In Outlook select "File" in the top menu bar.
- Select "Account Settings" drop-down menu, then select Account Settings.
- In the Account Settings pop-up window; select your email account, then click "Change".
- Under Offline Settings, If the "Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook data file" check box is checked…. Uncheck it, then click Next.
- Click Done. Close the Account Settings window and restart Outlook.
